Start with Community to evaluate and build. Add a commercial licence when TeamHub becomes part of how the organisation actually operates. The product is the same either way: a licence unlocks the gated modules, turns the app quiet and gives you somebody to call.
What a licence changes
Community is a genuine full base application under AGPL-3.0, with no seat limit. The condition travels with the claim: in exchange it carries prompts, branding, one anonymous daily aggregate, and the gated modules locked.

The gated modules
Everything not on this list is in the free base application.
- My Work and What’s new, the personal queue and feed across every team a person belongs to.
- Advanced Projects, with phases, the Project Compass, milestones, budget and time.
- Bulk creation, import and export, building or extracting every team from one CSV with a dry run first.
- File reviews, requested from Files and tracked through to completion.
- Services, the internal service catalogue and the workflow behind it.
- The OpenProject integration.
- The compliance centre, oversight across every workspace on the instance.
- Quiet mode, which removes the prompts, the branding and the telemetry.
- Sub-teams, Create sub-teams for your team.
One product, priced by seats
One seat is one unique active Nextcloud account that belongs to at least one Team on the licensed instance. Somebody in five teams counts once. An account in no team counts nothing.

per seat, per year
- Quoted. Billed monthly or yearly, in bands of 50 seats.
- The complete product, with every gated module unlocked.
- Quiet mode, and telemetry off.
- Licensed in bands of 50 seats, so adding a few people does not change the licence.
All prices exclude VAT and any applicable taxes. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
Per seat, per year
The figure most organisations are actually comparing against is what they pay per person for the suite they already have. At 1 – 50 seats, €450 a year works out at €9.00 a seat. At 51 – 100 seats, €850 works out at €8.50. Above that it is quoted from 8.40 a seat.

Evaluating it properly
Every instance can have one full 30-day trial: the complete product, every gated module, no seat limit. It is not a reduced demonstration version.
A trial is requested by e-mail from the License tab in the TeamHub admin settings, which fills in the instance identifier for you. We issue the key by hand and reply to the address the request came from. There is no automated trial endpoint, because the application never contacts us.
One trial per instance. Reinstalling or removing the licence does not entitle you to another, though we will reset one on request where that is reasonable.
What happens if you do not renew
Nothing is deleted, ever, through licence expiry or enforcement.
- Grace, 14 days. Existing Advanced teams keep working normally. Creating new ones is blocked.
- Soft-lock, after that. Project surfaces on existing Advanced teams become read-only, and the gated modules stop being available. The data stays, and stays readable.
- The base application keeps working. Messages, files, calendar, Deck, Talk, presence and decisions continue on every team, indefinitely.
- A trial has no grace period. It soft-locks the moment it expires, and it does not renew or convert on its own.
Installing a fresh key restores everything immediately, whether that happens during grace, during soft-lock or years later.
The commercial detail
No call home
TeamHub does not contact us to validate a licence, renew it, count seats or report compliance. The key is verified inside your own instance, offline. An air-gapped deployment is a supported deployment.
How seats are counted
One unique active Nextcloud account belonging to at least one Team. Guest, federated and bot accounts count when they are team members. Disabled accounts do not. The current number is on the License tab, computed the same way we compute it.
Going over the band
Passing the licensed seat count does not switch anything off at once. There is headroom of 110% before the gated modules enter the unlicensed state, so a hiring month is not an outage.
Who you contract with
Doek Works is the contracting party, registered in The Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce 42169291. Quotations, invoices and support all come from there.
The documents
The Commercial Licence and Support Agreement governs the licence, alongside the General Terms and Conditions. Both are published in full, before you ask for a quote.
Tell us how many people, and we will tell you what it costs.
A quote takes one form and comes back with a fixed number. If you would rather talk through whether TeamHub fits at all, start with a conversation instead.
