TeamHub

About

TeamHub is made by Doek Works.

The product speaks as TeamHub. The company answers the questions a procurement reader actually has: who signs the agreement, who sends the invoice, who picks up the phone, and what happens to your instance if we stop.

The company

  • Name. Doek Works, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak).
  • Owner. Jantinus Doek.
  • Registered office. Elzenlaan 21, 9422 ES Smilde, The Netherlands.
  • Chamber of Commerce. 42169291.
  • VAT. NL002993406B05.
  • Governing law. Dutch law, with disputes heard at the District Court of Northern Netherlands, location Assen.

TeamHub is the product. Doek Works is the party named on the licence agreement, the quotation and the invoice, and the party that provides support.

The product

  • On the Nextcloud App Store since 20 April 2026, shipping continuously since.
  • Currently at version 4.13.0, with a public changelog and public release notes.
  • Source under AGPL-3.0 on GitHub, with the issue tracker open.
  • Built for Nextcloud 33 to 35 on PHP 8.1 to 8.5.
  • An independent third-party application. TeamHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Nextcloud GmbH.

Meet Huub

Your digital TeamHub assistant.

Huub helps explain TeamHub in plain language. You will see him pop up in guides, product stories and short videos whenever a feature is easier to show than to describe.

No extra platform and no chatbot you have to learn. Huub is our guide to the way TeamHub works.

Huub, the TeamHub digital assistant, waving.

The honest version

It is a small company, and that cuts both ways.

Pretending otherwise would be found out in the first conversation, so here is the shape of it.

What you get from that

  • A direct line. Licensed customers write to a person who can change the product, not to a queue that escalates.
  • Fast iteration. A reported problem is often fixed in the next release rather than in the next quarter.
  • Real influence on the roadmap. A specific, well-argued request from a customer usually gets built.
  • Honest scoping. We will say when TeamHub is the wrong tool, because a bad fit costs us more than a lost sale.

What you should plan for

  • No round-the-clock support desk. A first substantive response inside two business days, which is a target and not a contractual service level.
  • No professional services arm. Large migrations are better run with a Nextcloud provider, and we are glad to work alongside one.
  • Business continuity is worth asking about. Which is why the next section exists.

Continuity

What happens to your instance if we stop.

This is the fair question to ask a small supplier, and the answer is structural rather than a promise.

  • Nothing switches off. TeamHub never contacts us, for anything. There is no licence check, no seat count and no heartbeat, so nothing on your instance depends on a server of ours staying up.
  • Your key keeps working for the period it was issued for, because it is verified offline against a key already inside the application.
  • The base application is AGPL-3.0. The source is public and stays public. It can be run, read, audited, forked and maintained by anybody, including you or your provider.
  • Your data is already yours. It is in your own Nextcloud database, on your own infrastructure. There is nothing to export from us because we never had it.

That is not a claim about our intentions. It is a description of how the thing is built, which is the only kind of continuity argument worth anything.
